Christina Aguilera Hairstyles in 2008

Three hairstyles we saw on Christina Aguilera in the past several months have become the hot fashion statement in 2008, and are easily pulled off by style-conscious.
First, as Christina was touring stores to promote her new DVD, “Back to Basics: Live and Down Under,” she had her locks dried with a blow-dryer, in an outward direction, with a little bit of flair. This allows the lady to show off some sliced layers through both the back and sides.  This style works best for ladies with long, narrow faces. Another Christina style that’s showing up in 2008 is the style she wore at her “Rock the Vote” appearance.  If you adopt this style, your hair is styled into big, defined curls which will sit beautifully on your shoulders.  The top of the style is pulled back halfway, in order to create volume and height.  This creates an elegant style that is perfect for those “events” in your life.

And finally, Christina wowed fans with the style she wore at this past Grammy Awards.  To imitate this style, you’ll pull your locks back into a half-down and half-up style, maintaining flat features toward the top, but lots of texture and body through the ends.  This is also a great style for narrower faces and perfect for formal events.
